About Me

As my Mighty author page states, I’m a fuzzy sock junkie. Misdiagnosed with fibromyalgia at 20 years and formally diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome at 35, I suffered throughout my childhood with that all-encompassing pain. I’m a wife and friend full-time and an author and vocalist in my spare time. My goal is to help others cope with and be educated about chronic illness. I’m a staunch advocate against apathy and I encourage belly laughs daily. It’s amazing what a good belly laugh can do for a weakened immune system!

In lieu of a good belly laugh, companionship, community and comradery are good to have. I know we can’t always have all of those things and sometimes we can’t have any of them. In the meantime, though, one of my other goals here is going to be to offer at least one of those at any given time.

I’m also an advocate for truth and communication in relationships. As such, I’m going to be addressing some NSFW subject matters here and there, so consider yourselves warned.
